Physical flags can be seen from Tier Above Decks to the left and from the beach you can see the flag at Cape Palms Park to the right. Flags are also found at the north and south fire stations and in T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park.

Yes, a shoreline fishing license can be purchased at Scallop Cove or Blue Water Outrigger in Port St. Joe. It is free for Florida residents. For non-residents it is $17.50 for a 3 day, $30.50 for a 7 day or $47 for an annual fishing license.

You can get an annual beach driving permit at the courthouse in Port St. Joe. For non-residents of Gulf County, the annual pass costs $500.

Beach bonfires are allowed, but they must be at least 100 feet from any structure. Always attend your fire, extinguish it completely, and clean up afterwards. You can buy firewood at the Cape Trading Post or opt for a hassle-free experience with Light Up Your Night Beach Bonfires.

The nearest hospital and emergency room is Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital, located at 3801 Hwy 98, Port St. Joe. It's open 24/7.

Cape San Blas has its own water station, resulting in lower water pressure. At A Tier Above, we've installed a booster pump to mitigate this issue for your comfort.

1. Piggly Wiggly for groceries. Whether you are coming through Port St. Joe or Apalachicola, Piggly Wiggly is your best option for a full grocery store.

2. Souvenir Shop! Beach Planet is the largest but you will find great finds at Tortuga Moon, Trading Post & Scallop Cove. And if you'd like to shop in PSJ, Reid Street has lots of options!

3. Check out the Trading Post! You will likely visit them several times during your visit. Whether it's for grocery, hot food, drinks, firewood, Ice cream, souvenirs, Weber's Donuts, etc., this will be a hot spot to get to know.

4. Make it a beach day at Cape Palms Park. Just past our neighborhood, this park has Public Beach Access, bathrooms, picnic tables, and a pavilion with swings. So, pack your beach bag and get a taste of the beach while you wait.

5. State Park. Follow Cape San Blas Rd until it dead ends into the State park. Scope out the Bay & Gulf side because you'll want to explore it before you leave CSB!

6. Grab a bite to eat!

Cape San Blas is in the Eastern Time Zone, but your devices may switch between Central and Eastern Time. Keep this in mind for check-in and check-out times. Otherwise, you're on beach time, so relax and enjoy!
